Itinerary
After being picked up at the airport or your hotel in Colombo you leave for Pinnawala to visit the Elephant orphanage. This orphanage was set up by the government to take care of baby elephants lost or abandoned in the wild. Witness the feeding of the elephants. Thereafter observe them as they take their daily bath in the river nearby, which offer marvellous photo opportunities. Bath time is enjoyed by all elephants, young and old alike and it is a good time to closely observe their tightly knit family structure. Daily feeding times – 9.15 am, 1.15 pm, and 5.00 pm. bathing times – 10.00 am, 2.00 pm, and 4.00 pm.
Afterwards head for Dambulla and explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognised as a sacred pilgrimage site for approximately 22 centuries, this cave monastery is the largest best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

Today we are going to Sigiriya. Sigiriya, or “Lion Rock,” is a 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage site in central Sri Lanka, featuring a massive 200-meter-high rock fortress built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD). It is renowned for its summit palace ruins, vibrant frescoes, advanced hydraulic gardens, and the “Lion Paw” entrance, often called the eighth wonder of the world.

Day two begins with a hearty breakfast, and a tour to Anuradhapura Town. Anuradhapura is the first kingdom in Sri Lanka. It was founded by King Pandukabhaya. You can visit the main religious sites of the Buddhist people. In this area, known as the “Kingdom of Tanks”, you can see large tanks.

Today we will visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. This is the second kingdom of Sri Lanka. You can see many ruins from that time. You can also see many shrines. You can also see the Parakrama Samudra, the largest lake in Sri Lanka.

After breakfast, we will go to Mahiyanganaya Temple. Mahiyangana is a historically and culturally important town located on the banks of the Mahaweli River in the Badulla District of the Uva Province of Sri Lanka. It is a popular pilgrimage and tourist destination due to sites such as the Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya, believed to be the site of the Buddha’s first visit to Sri Lanka, and the Dambana Vedda village. Next we will go to soraborawewa.

Day five begins with a hearty breakfast, and a tour to Ella. After visiting Ella town, we will go to see the Nine Arch Bridge. After that you can go to little adam’s peak for a small hiking. At the end of the day, we arrive at Thanamalwila for accommodation.

Today we are going to Lunugamwehera Safari. Lunugamwehera is famous for is population of elephants, mungos, birds……

Today we are going to Galle Fort. It is a very ancient heritage, completed by the Dutch. Its lands are of very high value and it is a place of great tourist attraction.

After a delicious breakfast, we will go to Hikkaduwa beach. Hikkaduwa Beach, located about 100km south of Colombo on Sri Lanka’s south coast, is a popular, lively destination known for golden sand, snorkeling with sea turtles, and vibrant nightlife. The main season runs from November to April, offering top surfing conditions, coral reefs, and bustling beachfront restaurants.

After break fast we will go to boat safari. A Madu Ganga boat safari is a 1.5–2 hour tour through the scenic mangrove forests of Balapitiya, showcasing 64 islands, rich wildlife (crocodiles, monkeys, birds), and cultural stops, including a cinnamon plantation and a Buddhist monastery.
