Itinerary

After being picked up at the airport or your hotel in Colombo you leave for Mirissa to visit whales. After that we will go to coconut hill. In the evening, you will have free time at Mirissa beach and then depart for Sinharaja forest.

Day two begins with a hearty breakfast, and a tour to Sinharaja Forest. Sinharaja Forest Reserve is Sri Lanka’s last viable primary tropical rainforest, located in the southwest lowland wet zone. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site (designated 1988) and Biosphere Reserve, it spans roughly 8,864–11,000 hectares, acting as a crucial biodiversity hotspot for over 60% endemic trees, 95% endemic birds, and endangered species like the Sri Lankan leopard and purple-faced langur. Then we will arrive Udawalawa.

Today we are going to Lunugamwehera Safari.Lunugamwehera is famous for is population of elephants, mungos, birds…… Then we will arrive at Katharagama.

Today we are going to Ella. The route we are taking is a very beautiful mountain road. In the morning we go to Buduruwagala Temple. Then on our way to Ella town, we come across Ravana Ella. That waterfall is a waterfall that has attracted a lot of tourist attraction. After that, we go to Nine Arch Bridge, which is another place that has attracted a lot of tourist attraction.

After breakfast, we will go to Lipton’s seat. Lipton’s Seat is a famous panoramic viewpoint located on Poonagala Hill in Haputale, Sri Lanka. Situated at approximately 1950 meters above sea level, it was the favorite spot of Scottish tea magnate Sir Thomas Lipton, who used to overlook his vast Ceylon tea plantations there. It offers breathtaking 360-degree views, including the southern coast on clear days.

Today, we take you to the train station of Ella . The train takes three hours to go from Ella to Nanu oya. In actual kilometers it’s a pretty short journey but the train has to cross a lot of mountain ranges and descends from 1000m up to 1800m, passing through tea plantations, eucalyptus forests, mountains, villages and more tea plantations. Much of the track snakes it way along the edge of the mountains overlooking huge valleys of firstly tea plantations and small villages, then forests and waterfalls, before crossing to the other side of the range and being greeted with more valleys of tea plantations and small villages the scenery was stunning.

Continue on to Kandy. the bustling hill country capital is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sacred ground of the city also home the much venerated tooth relic of Lord Buddha, in the Temple of the tooth relic which is a focal point for Buddhist veneration. Apart from that the city still projects an aura of royal beauty, echoing the grandeur of Sri Lanka’s last royal kingdom through iconic features such as; the Kandy Lake (built in 1807) and the Peradeniya Botanical Garden.

After break fast we will go to Peradeniya Botanical Garden. After that you can enjoy evening ceremony.

After a delicious breakfast, we will go to Dambulla and explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognised as a sacred pilgrimage site for approximately 22 centuries, this cave monastery is the largest best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.

Today we are going to Sigiriya. Sigiriya, or “Lion Rock,” is a 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage site in central Sri Lanka, featuring a massive 200-meter-high rock fortress built by King Kasyapa (477–495 AD). It is renowned for its summit palace ruins, vibrant frescoes, advanced hydraulic gardens, and the “Lion Paw” entrance, often called the eighth wonder of the world.

Today we will visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. This is the second kingdom of Sri Lanka. You can see many ruins from that time. You can also see many shrines. You can also see the Parakrama Samudra, the largest lake in Sri Lanka.

Today we are going to Happy man village in bentota. You can spend the day relaxing there.

Afterwards we will take you to the airport or your beach hotel.
